All Things Coffee

Morning crafty friends, I'm super excited to announce that I am part of the design team for Stamplorations, if you haven't had a chance to check them out I encourage you to go and explore all they have to offer. I am part of the digital stamps design team, so my cards today will feature some of their digital stamps. I am not a coffee girl, I don't really ever drink it and if I do I get a frappe and let's be honest is there any coffee in there? When I saw these digital stamps I couldn't wait to color them in a bunch of bright and vibrant colors.
I started off by printing the Bloomdala Coffee Cup to Go Digital Stamps, you get a total of 6 coffee cup designs with this bundle. I ended up using two of the designs for both cards, but have the rest printed in order to use for another project. I colored all of my images with copic markers.
After coloring and cutting out the coffee cups I started working on my backgrounds. For my background I used the Broken Glass - ARTplorations Stencil with some distress oxide inks. For the first card with some watercolor paper I used Shaded Lilac Distress Oxide Ink to do the background, for the second card I decided to use blend the background with Scattered Straw Distress Oxide Ink and then I flipped the stencil and blended Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink to add some contrast to the background. I got a completely different looking background as you can see by doing this, you can get so much more from your stencils by doing that.
Once I finished the background and laid out how I wanted my cards I started working on my sentiments. I used both It's a Brew-tiful Day Phase Die as well as the Coffee Word Die. I cut both from some brown card stock multiple times adhering them together with liquid adhesive. I love the Brew-tiful day sentiment, I think it is so cleaver and cute for all the coffee lovers out there. I finished off each card by scattering some sequins around each card.
Thank you all so much for stopping by to check out my cards, make sure to head on over to the Stamplorations Blog  for more inspiration from the other design team members. Right now there is a mini-hop going on so make sure to visit everyone's blog for a chance to win a $15 gift card to use either in the main store or the digital store.
